How FartRank works

The whole app revolves around a single fast action: log a fart. Every entry is timestamped on your account, then aggregated three ways:

Personal stats: daily, weekly and all-time counts, streaks, peak hours, and your worst Mondays.
Global leaderboard: a live ranking of every user worldwide, rolling 30-day window so newcomers can break in fast.
VS mode: pick a friend, set a duration (1 hour, 1 day, 1 week), highest count wins. Wins boost your weekly score.

Why a leaderboard for that?

Tracking by itself is boring. Add competition, friends and a streak counter and the same action becomes a game. FartRank borrows the loop from fitness apps (Strava, Apple Health) and applies it to the most universally relatable bodily function. The joke is the product. The product is also genuinely fun.

Is there an Android app?

A native Android app is in active development and will publish on the Google Play Store. In the meantime, the web version runs full-speed on any phone and can be installed on your home screen in one tap from the browser menu (Add to Home Screen). The PWA gives you push notifications, offline support and a native-looking icon — without going through an app store.

iOS and desktop

FartRank is web-first by design, so it works on iPhone (Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen), iPad, Mac, Windows and Linux. The interface is mobile-first but scales up gracefully.

Frequently asked questions

Do my friends see what I log?

Only if you let them. Profile visibility is per-user and you can keep things friends-only or even private. The leaderboard always shows aggregate counts, never timestamps.

Can I delete an entry?

Yes — every log is editable or deletable from your profile within 7 days, then it locks into your permanent history to keep rankings honest.

How is the score calculated?

One log = one point. Streaks add a multiplier (3-day = 1.1×, 7-day = 1.3×, 30-day = 2×). Won VS challenges add a weekly bonus.

Is this a joke or a real product?

Both. The premise is funny — the execution is a properly built full-stack social app with Supabase backend, real auth, real leaderboards and an Android app in development. Built by Furiosa Studio.
