TERMS OF USE & FAIR USE POLICY

Welcome to FartRank (the "App"), operated from Spain by the FartRank team ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms. FartRank is a light-hearted social tracking app — please use it in that spirit.

1. Your account

You must provide a valid email (or sign in with Google) and are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use the App.

2. Fair Use Policy

To keep FartRank fun, fast and affordable for everyone, every account is subject to fair-use limits:

• Free accounts may log up to 3 farts per day.
• Pro accounts are described as "unlimited" for normal personal use, subject to a fair-use ceiling of 50 farts per day to prevent abuse and protect our infrastructure.
• You agree not to: automate, script or bulk-generate entries; submit fake, fraudulent or machine-generated recordings; manipulate rankings, challenges or leaderboards; or use the App in any way that places an unreasonable load on our systems.
• Recordings you upload must be genuinely your own and must not contain other people's voices or any unlawful, harmful or offensive audio.

We may throttle, suspend or terminate accounts that exceed these limits or that we reasonably believe are abusing the service. These limits may change over time; we will keep this page updated.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• FartRank Pro costs €1.99/month or €14.99/year (prices include applicable taxes where required).
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• EU/EEA consumers may have a 14-day right of withdrawal; by starting a digital subscription you may be asked to waive it once the service begins. Statutory rights are unaffected.

4. Your content & data

You own the data you create. Recordings are stored privately in our infrastructure (Supabase) and are only accessible to you. To control storage, we keep a rolling library of your most recent recordings (Free: 10, Pro: 500); older clips are automatically deleted. We use your data solely to operate the App. You can delete your recordings or request account deletion at any time, which removes your personal data subject to legal retention requirements.

5. Acceptable behaviour

Don't use FartRank to harass others, upload illegal content, infringe rights, or break any law. We may remove content or accounts that violate these Terms.

6. No warranty

FartRank is provided "as is", for entertainment. We don't guarantee it will be error-free or always available, and we're not liable for indirect damages to the extent permitted by law.
